In an attempt to try to stay ahead of the game in refreshing everyone’s memories about upcoming Jeep Jamborees.. I am going to try to post these a couple months early prior to date of Jamboree. Information has been obtained from the official Jeep Jamboree Website

Saddle up and hit trails in the heart of Texas Hill Country. This Jamboree offers some of the most challenging terrain in Texas. Held at the historic Inks Ranch, this trip includes granite domes, rock climbs, sandy draws and several scenic vistas. Located near Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, our trail system winds around Watch Mountain, a 300-ft wall of granite. You may even spot some wildlife, such as aoudad, axis deer, blackbuck, and bald eagles!

6th Texas Spur Spring Jeep Jamboree

Okay, I am very aware we are not yet through the winter wonderland days but Spring isn’t that far off and there is no better time than now to start making your spring Jeep Off Roading plans. Well you can all mark your calendars for March 25th thru the 27th for the 6th Texas Spur Spring Jeep Jamboree.

The Jeep Jamboree group provides some of the best trail networks across the country; areas often limited access or inaccessible to others. The Texas Spur is no different. The Texas Spur Jeep Jamboree’s spring event, being held March 25 thru the 27th, 2010, is timed to capture the brilliance of the heart of Texas Hill Country. The Texas Spur Jeep Jamboree provides a wide variety of off roading terrain that can range from dirt track and sandy, dry wash to moderate-to-nearly-extreme rock climb. The trail is located in Llano County, just two hours north of San Antonio and an hour and a half northwest of Austin.

As always there will be Jamboree trail guides are on-hand to instruct attendees, who can range from newbies to expert drivers, with rigs that can range from stock-from-the showroom-floor models to military trucks and home-built rock crawlers–all with a Jeep pedigree.
