Florida is full of ways to be entertained, from water parks, beaches and theme parks there is something that will appeal to everyone.  It is also a great place for off-roading with many different parks to choose from, to make your decision easier we’re listing a few parks that may appeal to many Jeep drivers.

  • Tri-State Off Road Park – This off-road park is located off Highway 20 in Clarksville, Fl.    It offers Deep Mud Bog Holes and a Consistency Park.  Admission is $10 for adults and children 12 and under are free.  The park opens at 10 a.m. and closes at dusk.
  • Triple Canopy Ranch – Triple Canopy Ranch is located at 16950 County Road 630 Lake Wales, Fl.  The park has over 425 acres of trails, pits, circle track, obstacle course and a side by side track.  You can also camp at the park and get the most out of your visit, and if your Jeep should experience any trouble there is also an on-site vendor available for all of your repair needs.
  • Hard Rock Off Road Park – This park is located in Ocala, Fl. and boasts a section devoted to Jeeps and other off road vehicles.  The park is open seven days a week from 10 am – 5 pm.  Cost is $25 per day per vehicle.  Camping is also available for $20 per day with water and electrical hook-ups.  There are also hotels located nearby for those who would prefer not to camp onsite.
  • Revolution The Off Road Experience – Is located at 4000 State Road 33 Clermont, FL 34714.  It features 220 acres of great trails and attractions and even includes a private 65 acre Trophy Bass fishing lake.  Guided tours will take everyone from beginners to experienced drivers through trails.  This park has a lot to offer and even if you’re not into off-roading you can always enjoy the great fishing available.  Reservations are required to ensure that everyone has a great experience.

These are only a few of the many off-roading parks Florida has to offer, from what I’ve seen all of these parks look great and anyone who visits should find plenty of trails to explore and enjoy.  All of these parks offer great trails and other challenging courses for all Jeep drivers at any skill level.  If you would like more information on any of the parks listed above, please visit their websites.

Big Rock off-road park is located in Maysville, KY and consists of close to 2000 acres of beautiful countryside. Located near Historic Maysville, KY Big Rock overlooks the Ohio River and has been offering off road fun for anyone in the area for over ten years. Big Rock offers visitors a fun, family environment and allows visitors to stay for the day or weekend.

The park offers miles of wooded trails which make for a great way to explore the hills of KY. They have trails ranging in skill level from beginner to expert. The trails take drivers on a visually appealing journey through old rock walls that can be found throughout the park and make many visitors think of those who have traveled the area hundreds of years ago. They even have an old cemetery with graves that date back over one hundred years.

Big Rock is open from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm on weekdays and from 9:00 am – 6:30 pm on weekends. The park is open year round and is only closed for Christmas. The price of admission is $20 for passengers in Jeeps and $10 each additional consecutive day. For those who are under 16 the price is $10.

The park now offers the Jeep Adventure Trail which has been designed for everyday Jeep owners who have the desire to take their Jeep off-road. The trail will take you on a winding path through the woods and hollows of Big Rock. The trail also features some mud and hills to climb that any beginner will find enjoyable. The trail will also take you along ridges and old farm roads that cover the entire property.

For anyone who is visiting the park that doesn’t live near the area, there are plenty of nearby hotels and motels. There is also shopping and restaurants close by so that if you should happen to forget something you can easily travel a few minutes to the local shops. Big Rock off-road park has something for everyone of every skill level, the trails are designed for drivers to have fun and be challenged at the same time.

Bundy Hill Off Road Park is located in Southeast Michigan at 9960 E. Chicago Road, Jerome, MI 49249. It is home to over 300 acres of trails with over six miles of trails to entertain every driver at every skill level. The park offers trails, sand dunes, extreme rock crawling, gravel hill, sheer drop-offs, bottomless mud pits and areas of hood deep water. If you’re planning on visiting from out of town there are plenty of lodging options available in the nearby cities.

If you happen to be in the area on the 13th of November the park will be hosting their San drag at Bundy Hill. The event is open for bikes, quads and buggies with registration beginning a half hour before green flag and the overall winner will take home the purse. It costs five dollars to enter the event and the first green flag is at 1:00 pm. Sand drags take place on the first and third Sundays of each month. Bundy Hill Off Road Park will also be hosting their monthly Winter Wonder Runs on the second weekend of every month.

The park’s hours of operation during the Fall season are Saturday 8:00 am – Dusk, Sunday 10:00 am – Dusk with the last day of the season on November 13th. The park opens for the Spring season on Saturday March 10, 2012. The cost of admission is $15 per driver and $5 per passenger, two day passes are available and cost $25 each driver and three day passes cost $30 per driver and are valid from Friday between 4 pm – 9 pm Saturday and Sunday. If you’re interested in a family pass the cost is $500 per family with including up to five drivers.

If you’re interested in camping at the park it is allowed except on Labor Day & Memorial Day. It is highly suggested that interested campers call ahead to make sure that there are spaces available. The cost for camping is $20 with a five person limit and a $10 shower key deposit is required at the time of space rental.

If you’re looking for the perfect gift for an off road enthusiast the park also offers gift certificates and a punch pass that can be added onto if you require more visits. Bundy Hill Off Road Park has something for everyone, the trails are excellent and the ability to choose the type of trail you’d like to try makes it even better. Red Creek off-road park is located in southern Mississippi with easy access for anyone traveling from Wiggins, Lucedale, Alabama and New Orleans. The park is open in the summer on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm on Friday and Saturday and from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm on Sundays. During the fall season the park is open from 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm on Fridays and from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm on Saturdays. On Sundays it is open from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm. The park is open for 4×4’s, ATV’s and dirt bikes.

This year the park will be hosting their Halloween Mud Bash 2011 from October 28th – October 30th. Pricing for the event will be same as regular year round pricing and if you come in full costume you will receive $5 off. If you wish to enter the costume contest there is an entry fee of $5 with a grand prize being awarded in the amount of $250. While you are there you may want to take part in the haunted hayride for a fee of $10 on both Friday and Saturday night. Red Creek will also be hosting the Mudfest Winter Edition 2012 from February 3rd – February 5th. When additional details on this event become available we will pass them on to you.

If you are traveling to Red Creek from out of town there is plenty lodging available for you to choose from. Depending on your price range rooms start at $85 and go up to $285 a night. Colorado Off Road Extreme Park Map


Colorado Off Road Extreme is an 800 acre off road park that allows trucks, SUV’s, Jeeps and all types of four-wheel drive vehicles. They also allow for the use of rally cars, ATV’s and hill climb cars on the course. The park provides for a legal, private and controlled area for four wheeling enthusiasts to have fun. The park also has a ten mile off road track, mud bogging, a one mile short course track, a two mile rally sprint track, a rally cross track and a rock crawling area. There is something for everyone to enjoy at Colorado Off Road Extreme.

The owner of Colorado Off Road Extreme, Carl Miron, designed the park because of a lack of off-roading parks in the area. He designed a legal and safe location for all of the other off-road enthusiasts in the state to enjoy. The park is located in Deertrail, CO and the cost of admission is $10 per person per day. The park also offers season passes for those who are interested the prices of the season passes are $225 for an individual and $350 for a family.

The park offers trails that range in difficulty from beginner to expert with the appropriate amount of challenges on each trail. Depending on the vehicle you will be driving, there is plenty opportunity for an individual to have an enjoyable and exciting off-roading adventure. If you are visiting or live near Deertrail this is a park that deserves to be visited by every off-road enthusiast. The park promises a fun filled day or weekend for any family.

With the availability of trails for many different types of off roading vehicles no one will feel left out. The park offers an equal amount of fun for ATV riders to Jeep lovers. There is a trail that will test your skill level on any type of vehicle. General Sam’s is located in Huntsville, TX and offers off-roaders 706 acres of beautiful piney woods forests, six spring fed creeks and over sixty miles of off road trails for ATV’s, trucks and Jeeps. The park is open every week from Tuesday – Sunday. Park fees are $20 per day for one vehicle and a driver. Additional passengers are $5 per day. If you’re planning on staying for the whole weekend you may be interested in the all weekend special which is $45 for an all weekend pass from opening on Friday until closing on Sunday. If you enjoy camping the park has ten acres set aside for camping and deluxe camp sites are available that are equipped with electrical hookups. Deluxe RV sites which include water and electricity are $30 per night and must be reserved.

General Sam’s also features a competition area that includes mud drags, sand drags and a huge mud bog. The park also features a wash down area so that you won’t have to drive your vehicle home encased in mud and dirt. There is also an air compressor on site so that you can maintain the proper air levels in your tires. Other amenities include convenient bathroom locations and showers which are located in the front of the camping area.

If you are in the area on the weekend of October 28th stop by the park and take part in a haunted trail ride, pumpkin buddy run, pumpkin toss and much more. On the 29th of October the park will be hosting the Great Muddy Escape with all proceeds being donated to YMCA.

General Sam’s ATV & Off-Road park has plenty of trails to keep everyone from the beginner to the expert entertained all weekend long. With everything from camping to off-roading there is something for everyone at General Sam’s. Rausch Creek Off Road Park provides off-roaders with a fun and legal area to go off-roading. It is open for individuals to use as well as off-road clubs and organizations. The park is located at 453 Molleystown Rd., Tremont, PA 17981. The park offers close to 3,000 acres of trails which range from easy, intermediate and hard trails, bowls and hills. The park also offers free on site camping areas for those who wish to camp and enjoy the scenery. The park is open April – November, there is no need to make a reservation on weekends, there is plenty of room for everyone. Monday – Thursday the park is open by reservation only and all camping requires a reservation to guarantee that you have a spot once you arrive.

If you happen to be in the area on October 8th, you may want to stop in and take part in the Trail Fest. This is event promises to be fun for all levels of off-roaders and spectators. Drivers will have the chance to test their abilities on the park’s trails as well as meet others who share the same passion as they do. If you’re in or near the area, you should definitely stop and check out the event, you will not be sorry.

Rausch Creek Off Road Park is also home to a large glacial deposit known as Rock Creek. This trail begins a few feet from a main access road and extends to over 1,800 feet. At its widest point the deposit is over 150 feet wide. The area is loaded with boulders that are large in size and packed close enough together that hardly any trees have been able to grow in the area. The deposit tests the driving ability of even the most experienced driver, it is challenging and will provide drivers with one of the best climbing tests they will experience.

Rausch Creek Off Road Park has plenty to offer off-roaders of all skill levels. The trails are well designed and provide hours of fun and adventure. Rausch Creek Off Road Park is a site that should be on ever off-roaders list of favorites.
