Wheeling For The Lost

In keeping with trying to bring to the forefront all of the available Off Roading Organizations around the states, I bring to you today Wheeling For The Lost. Wheeling For The Lost is a non-profit to help raise funds for the National Center For Missing And Exploited Children. If you know of an Off Roading Organization that we haven’t featured yet, please let us know and we will add it to our list. Please provide the URL with your suggestion. If the site does not have a current website, give us some background information on it and address and we will get it posted.

Here is some information about Wheeling For The Lost from their founder Brian LaVoie:

In 2010 the idea for Wheeling For The Lost (WFTL) came to life when they held their first event in July. They raised just under $800.00, thanks to those who came out to support the cause and the companies that donated items for the raffle. WFTL donates 100% of the funds raised to the National Center For Missing And Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Founder, Brian LaVoie states, “Currently I handle the daily workings of the organization, but during our events the amount of volunteers seem endless. I don’t even have to ask for help, people approach me asking how they can help”.

Now in 2011 WFTL is in the planning stages for the 2nd annual Wheeling For The Lost trail run event in New Durham, NH. No date is set in stone yet, but will be on their Facebook community page once it is finalized.

The next scheduled fund raiser is at the AllThingsJeep.com 4th annual Go Topless Day event. This is being held at Oak Ridge Farm Stand located at 1543 Lunenburg Road, (Route 70) Lancaster, MA on May 14th, 2011. There will be FREE Child ID kits, literature on child safety supplied by the NCMEC, along with the Wheeling For The Lost 4×4 rig.

WFTL are in talks at this time with the folks at VERMONSTER 4×4 to have a booth set up at their 6th annual Spring Mud Fling in Bradford, VT. Their event is mother’s day weekend May 7 & 8. (This is geared toward fans of Mud Runs & Monster Truck World Record Stunts!)

WFTL looks forward to making new friends on Facebook where you can stay up to date on our events along with viewing profiles and photos of Missing Children.
