It may seem a bit soon to begin making plans for events happening next year, but in the case of the Jeepers Jamboree, it’s never too early to start planning. The Jeepers Jamboree starts its route in Georgetown, CA. Vehicles will then travel east for over 45 miles over paved and dirt roads. These roads take participants over the dam at Stumpy Meadows and passes through the old cattleman’s stop of Uncle Tom’s Cabin. Once the participants have reached Loon Lake, the off-roading adventures begin. Many previous participants can attest to how much fun they have had on the off-roading adventure.

Off-roading on the Rubicon Trail is considered by many off-road enthusiasts to be one of the best off-roading trails. Due to the winter storms that take place yearly, the trail is always changing because of the different ways in which the snow has affected the terrain. There are new and different trails to take advantage of over the rocky sluices and granite slabs that will offer drivers plenty of challenges. The highest speeds that are commonly reached on these trails range from 3 – 5 mph. The route carries drivers across Devil’s Post Pile which is made up of thousands of tons of large boulders and takes drivers past Spider and Buck Island Lakes.

Once driver’s reach Rubicon Springs, they are rewarded with mineral springs and a hotel which provides the sleeping accommodations. At the camping area, drivers will be allowed to mingle and relax while enjoying all of the beautiful scenery the location has to offer. Anyone who decides to participate in next year’s Jeepers Jamboree will not regret their decision. It is a weekend full of off-roading adventures and fun.
