In keeping with trying to bring to the forefront all of the available off roading groups around the state, I bring to you today Mid Rivers Jeep Thing Club located in St. Charles, Missouri. The Mid Rivers Jeep Thing Club was suggested to us by Eric Deverick. If you know of a group that we haven’t featured yet, please let us know and we will add it to our list. Please provide the URL with your suggestion. If the site does not have a current website, give us some background information on it and address and we will get it posted.

Here is some information about Mid Rivers Jeep Thing Club from their official website: www.midriversjeepthing.com.

The website has information about the sponsors of Mid Rivers Jeep Thing Club. Once you enter, you will find a large and active forum where you can connect with others who share your love of off roading. The club is family-oriented and designed for all Jeep enthusiasts who are located in Eastern Missouri and seeks to provide social, educational, and recreational activities that will allow people to enjoy being off-road while at the same time protecting natural resources.

To be a member, you must own a jeep of any make or model, use it to participate in club events, and attend at least one club event a year to be active. Memberships are based on a family unit and members have to have a valid driver’s license and be over 18. Those over the age of 18 are voting members, and all members must have no-fault and liability insurance. Dues are $25 for an entire year and are renewed on January 1. This gives a membership card, 2 club stickers, and access to all the activities and support.

The group and forum are both well managed, and you can easily connect with other members, get information, find out about events, and find lots of friends.

Every day we help Jeep Enthusiasts across the United States find the Jeep Parts and Accessories they need. With a selection of over 10,000 and climbing Jeep products, you are sure to find just the item you are looking for.

In keeping with trying to bring to the forefront all of the available off roading locations around the state, I bring to you today Bricks Off Road Park located in Missouri. If you know of a spot that we haven’t featured yet, please let us know and we will ad it to our list. Please provide the URL with your suggestion. If the site does not have a current website, give us some background information on it and address and we will get it posted.

Here is some information about Bricks Off Road Park from the Bricks Off Road Park official website:
http://bricksoffroadpark.com/
Bricks Off Road Park is located south of Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
GPS: N36.694999, -90.567640
573-718-7388

The “Brickell and Son Angus Farm” is switching gears…in more ways than one. After four generations of farming corn to cattle the Brickell’s have decided to turn their family farm into a 4-wheel-drive-heaven. The new name will be “Bricks Off Road Park.” It will be open to any and all types of off-road vehicles from 4-Wheelers, to dirt bikes, to dune buggies, it even has some technical up hill and rock climbs for the experienced Rock Crawlers. Bricks will be open on specific weekends throughout the year and primitive camping is available for $20/night for up to 8 people. Jay Brickell, who lives in Poplar Bluff, has always enjoyed having a place for his family and friends to experience the outdoors and now he is inviting everyone to do the same. He wants this to be a fun family place to ride your vehicle of choice in a scenic environment.

The farm has the spring-fed Beaver Dam Creek running through it, a very steep hill with a ridge top road that runs the length of the farm, and a mud slough that is sure to give even the biggest trucks out there a great run for their money. Jay’s son, Scott, who currently lives in Nashville, has helped to convert the farm into one of the country’s best off road parks. “I have always enjoyed helping my dad raise cattle, bail hay, and fix fence, but we would always end up spending all of our time working…now we are going to start to enjoy the land and have some fun!!!!” comments Scott “I have life long friends that have never been to our farm until I told them what we were doing….now I can’t keep them away.”

The terrain at the farm, which is located south of Poplar Bluff near Lone Hill is perfect for this type of offroad park. The rolling hills, and creeks, along with the wavy fields provide plenty of pleasure-riding or tough challenges, whichever fits your mood that day.

Spectators are welcomed and encouraged!!! With the mud pit, donut hole, obstacle course, drag strip and rock climbs, you are definitely going to see somebody tear up their equipment.

From MetroCrawlers:
WE are looking to get together for the first time as a club to meet and cruise a Safari type event up to Weston, Missouri and perhaps through Weston Bend State Park. The goal is to take in the sights and sounds and grab a bite to eat together as a group. Lets meet at the QT gas station in Platt City, MO at 10:30 a.m., we will roll on into Weston, Weston Bend State Park by 11:15 a.m. First off to grab a bite to eat, talk and discuss what is to come next for the new club and wheel on to Weston Bend State Park and see the sights and socialize. This is a safari event; it’s about sight seeing and socializing and getting to know one another. Safari trips can be outings for ice cream, road trips with a cool view or retracing history in the area. Regardless it is always about socializing and getting to know one another better.

METRO CRAWLERS JEEP CLUB
The METRO CRAWLERS JEEP CLUB is focused on fun, family oriented activities for all Jeep owners. We want to give responsible Jeep owners the opportunity to maximize the experience of driving a Jeep, one of most unique vehicles ever made, and share their experiences and knowledge with others. As a group, we agree that driving on and off road does not mix with drugs/alcohol.

We adhere strongly to the principles of TREAD LIGHTLY and as members of this organization accept our role in improving and maintaining the areas we use. Our objective is to foster an atmosphere that ensures the best care of the environment.

We are organized for the purpose of:
Enjoying each others company, providing family oriented recreational activities and improving the knowledge and ability of its members.
Enjoying and protecting natural resources, supporting the Multiple Use Principle as applies to public land.
