Many people enjoy taking their Jeeps off road. They might simply drive along the beach or they might head for the mountains the trails. Many people enjoy taking their Jeep with them to the woods when they go camping, especially since it is so easy to haul everything that you might need for a camping trip with you in a Jeep. Taking your Jeep off road always makes you worry about bangs and dents on the Jeep body, the corners, and the fenders.
It isn’t just off road adventures that can leave your Jeep with a few dings and dents. A simple drive through town can sometimes leave you with a dent. It’s not uncommon to come out of the grocery store and find that someone’s cart has left a ding on your Jeep. The most common places – whether you just drive around town or off road – to find dings and dents are in the rear corners, right around your taillights.
It’s a good idea to invest in some Jeep body armor. It can help you avoid unplanned repair bills from accidentally backing into something, a shopping cart, or other events that can leave you with dings. A good example would be Dura-flex diamond tread plate corner guards. These fit over your taillights and gas tank door, so it is easy to get to them when you need to. They protect the rear corners of your Jeep without taking away from the attractiveness of it. There is no need to buy Jeep body armor if it looks terrible! The Dura-flex diamond tread plate corner guards are made for factory flares and will fit Jeep Wrangler TJ 1997-06.
There are other kinds of body armor that you can get for your Jeep. There are armor pieces for your hood, lights, headlights, tailgates, frame covers, fender covers, entry guards, and much more. You are often able to choose from a few different colors so that you can find the color that will best suit your Jeep. Aluminum tread, black powder tread, and black powder steel are the most common colors.

I want this. Actually, I need this. I’m pretty rough on my Jeep and always have been. There is no terrain I won’t try and not many I haven’t tried. I love the rocks found jutting out of mountains but they are really hard on the vehicle. I’ve probably paid enough in body repair to have paid for this already. I will be checking it out very soon. Thanks.
This is the first I’ve heard of this and I can’t remember ever seeing a Jeep with body armor on it. It sure makes good sense though and I will be looking into it. I love being off road but the dings and dents are very apparent when you look close enough. Thanks for the info. I’ve learned a lot of great things by visiting this site. Keep up the great work.
yeah nice
I was thinking about having some body work done on my Jeep when I saw this blog. This might actually kill 2 birds with one stone. The money I would have spent on body work can go towards the body armor and that will in turn slow down the dings and dents that started the process. I really like the looks of it too and that never hurts.
